Welcome to the Human Resources online orientation guide.

New Employee Orientation

New Employee Orientations are held at various times throughout the year.

Notice of an upcoming orientation session will be sent to new regular employees via email and information will be posted on the Human Resources Seminars webpage. 

The half-day session will consist of presentations from:

  • Human Resources
  • Human Rights and Diversity Officer
  • Purchasing, Financial Services
  • Technology Solutions Centre
  • Campus Sustainability Office

    Descriptions of generic levels of responsibilities and qualifications by classification in different family groupings and unions that negotiate on behalf of their members
  • Collective Agreements
    Terms and conditions of employment for the University's unionized employees (AESES, IUOE, UWFA), and links to the union websites.
  • Employee Benefits
    A listing of benefits available to eligible employees, benefit forms, links to benefit providers, and upcoming benefit and pension plan sessions and seminars.
  • Payroll
    Bi-weekly pay dates, payroll forms, holiday schedule, and seniority lists.
