Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships Program

The Community Foundations of Canada (CFC), the Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) and Universities Canada (UnivCan) have announced that The University of Winnipeg has been awarded a highly competitive grant of $825,000 to establish a scholarship program designed to develop global citizens through enriched academic, professional, and cross-cultural experiences. The Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships (QES) is managed through a unique partnership of Universities Canada, the Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF), Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) and Canadian universities. This program is made possible with the financial support from the Government of Canada, provincial governments and the private sector.

Participation in leadership events, community engagement activities, and the network of QE scholars is expected of all scholarship winners.

Outgoing Scholars Application Deadline to the UW Graduate Program Chair*:

June 1st (Fall Term start) October 15th (Winter term start) February 1st (Spring Term start)
*Program Chairs to submit completed application packages to the Faculty of Graduate Studies 10 days after the deadline listed above.
