Aboriginal Students' Council

Graduate Studies

It is important that Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) have a voice on campus. The Aboriginal Students' Council advances the aspirations and interests of Aboriginal students in their efforts to achieve common goals. It advocates increased accessibility of post-secondary education for Indigenous students. The ASC promotes Indigenous culture both on- and off-campus.

The University of Winnipeg's Aboriginal Students Council is one of the larger student groups on campus. In order to become a member of the ASC you must add your name to their membership list, and be a currently registered student. You may sign the list, located in the Aboriginal Student Services Centre, at any time throughout the academic year. With your membership you have access to the centre's computers, printers, phones, and on occasion, coffee, bread and other goodies.

Doors are open between the hours of 7:00am – 11:00pm.
