International Tuition

The program fees listed below are for the 2022-23 academic year.

Note:

  1. Fees below are subject to change once final figures are determined each year. If there is a discrepancy between the figures below and the figures listed on Student Planning, the figures on Student Planning will be deemed official.
  2. Total fees for international students include tuition (program) fees, incidental and one-time fees, U/GPass fees (full-time students only), Manitoba Blue Cross, and UWSA Health Plan (Greenshield) fees (if elected). Please see International Student Fee Summary and Deadlines [PDF: 140 KB].
  3. Students in their Qualifying Year should visit Qualifying Year Fees.
  4. Domestic students should visit Domestic Student Fees.
  5. International students pay a $5,000 tuition deposit at the time they accept their offer. This deposit is applied to their student account and student fees in their first term of enrollment.

Additional Fee Information

The University of Winnipeg Student Association (UWSA) Health Plan is mandatory for International students; they are automatically enrolled when registration is complete. The Health Plan for International graduate students will be added to your account 5-10 working days after registration is complete. For more information about the UWSA Health Plan, please contact the UWSA at health@theuwsa.ca or via phone at 204-786-9992. For information on opt-out/opt-change, please consult the UWSA website

U/GPASS is a transit pass for unlimited use on Winnipeg Transit services from September 1 to April 30. Your student ID card is required when using this pass. Only full-time students are eligible to receive the U/GPASS. The U/GPass is $212/term for the Fall and Winter terms. For more information, please consult the UWSA website
