Additional Fee Information

The University of Winnipeg Student Association (UWSA) Health Plan is available upon request for Domestic students. There is both single and family coverage available. If you wish to opt-in, you must complete a UWSA Health Plan application form available from the UWSA office. All students can extend their UWSA health coverage to their spouse and/or dependents. For more information about the UWSA Health Plan, please contact the UWSA via email at health@theuwsa.ca or via phone at 204-786-9992. For information on opt-out/opt-change, please consult the UWSA website

U/GPASS is a transit pass for unlimited use on Winnipeg Transit services from September 1 to April 30. Your student ID card is required when using this pass. Only full-time students are eligible to receive the UPASS. For more information, please consult the UWSA website

NOTE: The U/GPASS will not be charged/applied during the 2021/22 academic year.
