GPU-BASED COMPUTATIONAL METHOD FOR COMPUTING RADIAL HARMONIC FOURIER MOMENTS
To compute the higher orders of Radial Harmonic Fourier moments has been a difficult task, and there is no highly satisfied result has been reported. In this research, we have analyzed some computational issues of the Radial Harmonic Fourier moments, and proposed the parallel computing with GPU for Radial Harmonic Fourier moments. To verify our newly proposed method and algorithms, we have performed the image reconstructions from the higher orders of Radial Harmonic Fourier moments, up to the order of 1,000, on a testing image sized at 1, 024 × 1, 024, with highly satisfied results. In this research, we have also discussed the relationship of Radial order n and Fourier order m of the Radial Harmonic Fourier moments, and how would they affect the image information in the reconstructed image. Moreover, we have conduct the color image reconstruction in Radial Harmonic Fourier moments to figure out the influential factors of reconstruction.
