Sadia Zohaib: "Being a mother, wife, and student at the same time; it was a different learning experience for me. I was admitted as Qualifying year student (Economics) in 2019. To be very honest, I never knew what direction this decision would take. I was taking a risk by switching my educational career. But now when I look back, it was a wonderful experience. Wherever I am today its just because of the dedicated and devoted professors. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that University of Winnipeg is equipped with one of the best faculties. Teaching methodologies are remarkable if I specifically talk about Department of Economics. All the professors are incredibly helpful and supportive. I consider myself lucky to be a part of this program. Dr Melanie, Dr Pandey, Dr Stefan, and Dr Amrita are astounding mentors. They guided me well even for my future endeavours.
My family has been my biggest strength throughout this journey. You can get through any of the hard times with right intentions and highly supportive system. My advice to the future students is to take advantage from this learning opportunity and marvelous team of instructors to the fullest."
