Canadian Institute of Health Research


The Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship administered by the CIHR are intended to provide special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a Master's degree in a health-related field in Canada. These candidates have an exceptionally high potential for future research achievement and productivity. The award is valued at $17,500.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is Canada's federal funding agency for health research. Composed of 13 Institutes, they collaborate with partners and researchers to support the discoveries and innovations that improve our health and strengthen our health care system.
