Support Our Students Today and Double Your Impact

UPDATE: We did it! Thanks to you and the generosity of our donors we have successfully surpassed our goal of raising over $130,000 in additional funds for scholarships and bursaries. Thanks to our amazing supporters a total of $3.2 million was raised this past school year for student awards, leveraging an additional $3.2 million in matching funds through the Manitoba Scholarship and Bursary Initiative for an unprecedented $6.4 million.

UPDATE: As of March 09, 2021, we have surpassed over a quarter of our goal, raising $48,800. Thank you so much for your support to date; let's keep it going!

Now is the best time to support UWinnipeg students and to double your impact.

In a bid to help bolster support for post-secondary education in Manitoba, the provincial government has offered one-to-one matching for any gift made in support of an immediate use scholarship or bursary before March 31st, 2021. This new initiative gives every donor the opportunity to maximize their giving potential by doubling every gift received before the deadline.

Lending a helping hand to our dedicated students has become doubly important during these uncertain times. Thanks to our community of donors, UWinnipeg has managed to remain ahead of the curve by prioritizing immediate use funds and strengthening our awards systems to accommodate the growing number of applicants. Your gifts play a critical role in helping extend the university’s ability to recognize the success our brightest students have worked hard to attain and provide financial assistance to those in need of extra support. Taking advantage of this unique opportunity is a must for any donor looking to make a difference in the lives of our students!

Are you unsure of which fund you want to support? A gift to our General Scholarship and Bursary fund helps us ensure that our matching potential is used to its full extent in providing support to as many students as possible.
