This Giving Tuesday support a deserving student in need & WIN

What happens when UW staff and faculty join forces to support our students? You get the perfect Holiday gift featuring a lot of furry love! We are proud to announce the 2022 University of Winnipeg Teacher's Pet Calendar is now available, and you can do a lot of good with it.
A thoughtful project made in collaboration between The UWinnipeg Communications team and our professors, the 2022 Teacher's Pet Calendar gives our community the opportunity to learn more about our professors through the eyes of their pets, while supporting our students through The Opportunity Fund. Calendars are $20.00 each (shipping included) and all proceeds raised will support the University’s Opportunity Fund.
One of UWinnipeg’s largest giving initiatives, The Opportunity Fund supports Indigenous students, recent immigrants, students with refugee backgrounds, first-generation students, and mature students by providing fast-track bursaries and tuition credits. The goal of the fund is to bridge the graduation gap and foster a caring university identity for everyone.

“We were happy to take part in the calendar this year, as it gave us the chance to be at The University of Winnipeg and to see (Communications Officer) Naniece Ibrahim in person during the pandemic lock-down.
