Dr. Lee Anne Block is a teacher educator at The University of Winnipeg. Her research and teaching are focused on how we name and engage with difference in educational locations and on cultural sustainability. Block has 20 years of experience teaching in classrooms in Winnipeg.

Block recently completed a course on sustainability titled Gandhi, Globalization and Earth Democracy, with Indian scholar Dr. Vandana Shiva, in residence at a farm in northern India.
