Perspectives on Experiential Learning in the Community

Experiential Learning

This series of short videos, created in 2016, reveals a commitment to experiential learning spread across faculties and disciplines at U of W. Experiential learning, an approach that integrates student and community, can be as vital in studying theatre as it is in learning about science or educational practices. Rather than recommending immersion in ideas and theories, all of the educators emphasize that working with people in a community environment is vital to expansive and empathic learning.
