Biography:
Aaron Donachuk received his Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Toronto in 2018. His research interests include the nineteenth-century British novel, narrative theory, book history (sp. the history of typography), the cultural history of attention, Henry James studies, international copyright law, and the history of discourses around World English. In his doctoral dissertation he examined how Victorian novelists borrowed concepts of attention from contemporary writing on aesthetics, language, and typography to structure large-scale narratives of social and cultural change.
