Hybrid Delivery Method

ELP uses a hybrid delivery method.

Classes will be delivered in-person for students who are able to travel to Winnipeg. A remote delivery option is available to those joining us from abroad. With some guidance from our staff, students can choose which delivery method is right for them.

Students using remote delivery will join the class via zoom and be able to interact with the in-person students and instructor via smart camera. Each class will have a teacher assistant on zoom to assist remote learners with class participation.

All students will use our learning management system, Nexus.

Nexus provides all students with:

  • Weekly class schedule and content from instructors (handouts, articles, videos etc.)
  • Access to quizzes and a place to submit assignments
  • Discussion boards to communicate with fellow students and receive help from instructors

To enjoy a better experience from our classes, we recommend that your system meets the following minimum requirements:

For more information and tips please visit UWinnipeg's Remote Hub.

If students are in Winnipeg, they will have the opportunity to participate in socio-cultural activities in person. Our remote learners will participate virtually.

We look forward to supporting your learning!
