Biography:

Mark completed his university education at the University of Manitoba. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (advanced) in 1997 and graduated from the Faculty of Law Robson Hall in 2001. Mark won the Irvin Goldman Prize in Criminal Law - which is awarded to one third year student for demonstrated excellence in Criminal Law throughout all three years of Law school in the subjects of Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Intensive Criminal Law and participation in a moot court competition and the Legal Aid Clinic.

After graduation, Mark articled with the Manitoba Department of Justice, Prosecution Service and was called to the bar in 2002. He has been a Crown Attorney for his entire career. His current role is: Supervising Senior Crown of the General Trial Unit (Winnipeg).

 He has taught at the U of W since 2013.
