COVID-19


March 30, 2020 - Update for UWinnipeg students. The voluntary withdrawal deadline for both winter 2020 term (January to April 2020) and fall/winter 2019-20 term (September 2019 to April 2020) has been extended to April 6. Read more. 

March 23, 2020 - All campus buildings will close until further notice. Access will be limited to those who are delivering essential services, such as security, physical plant, food services and residence staff. Read more.

March 19, 2020 - The voluntary withdrawal date has been changed. Students now have until March 31, 2020 to voluntarily withrdaw from Winter term courses. Read more.

March 17, 2020 - Campus hours have changed in light of reduced activity. Beginning Wednesday, March 18 — the campus will open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and is closed on weekends. This schedule will continue until further notice. Read more.

March 16, 2020 - No in-person classes or exams this term Exams may be conducted online, via Nexus, or other means. Students will learn by March 20 how final grades will be determined. Read more.

March 13, 2020 - Campus update on COVID-19 response All in-person classes and labs will be suspended for the remainder of the winter term. Essential services will remain open, some facilities will close. Read more.

March 12, 2020 - Campus update on COVID-19 response The University of Winnipeg has chosen to postpone three upcoming events: the Awards Night of Excellence (Thursday, March 19), Graduation Pow Wow (Saturday, March 21), and Spring Feast (Friday, March 27). Read more.

March 10, 2020 - UWinnipeg response to COVID-19 The risk of acquiring COVID-19 in Manitoba remains very low, and there are currently no laboratory-confirmed cases identified in the province. Read more.
