Co-operative Education Program - Chemistry

The University of Winnipeg Co-operative Education Program is designed to integrate classroom learning with real-world experience. Through the Faculty of Business and Economics department, students will participate in a series of workshops focused on building their professional development skills, such as writing a resume, preparing for successful interviews and how to conduct a job search; followed by networking opportunities and attending various career fairs.

Applying as a Chemistry student brings you new and exciting opportunities in industry, and help you to edge out the competition with your unique chemistry skills such as: critical thinking, chemical sample preparation and analysis, data curation, operation of advanced instrumentation, and general laboratory techniques. Students will apply for jobs and typically find opportunities during the summer months to work – bridging the gap from theory into practice.
