Join us this October for an exciting lineup of events. Catch up with old friends, update your professional headshot, revisit campus memories, cheer on your Wesmen, and connect with old classmates at our special Alumni Reunion for graduates from the 1980s. We cannot wait to see you!
Alumni Week 2026
Tuesday, October 27
Where: Axworthy Health & RecPlex | Time: 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Admission: Free
Refresh your professional image with a complimentary headshot taken by a professional photographer. Whether you're updating your LinkedIn profile or about to embark on a brand-new career, this is the perfect opportunity to put your best face forward.
Each photography session is 10 minutes and includes one professional headshot.
Registration is required and open exclusively to UWinnipeg alumni. Space is limited.
Digital photos will be provided following the event via email.

Thursday, October 29
Where: WAG-Qaumajuq, 300 Memorial Blvd | When: 6 p.m. | Admission: $50 per person
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate four exceptional alumni whose leadership, achievements, and service are making a difference in our communities and beyond.
This evening will feature inspiring award recipient stories, a cocktail reception, and opportunities to connect with fellow alumni and friends of the University of Winnipeg. The program will be emceed by UWinnipeg alumna Margaux Miller (BA 05).
Friday, October 30
Where: University of Winnipeg Campus | When: 2 p.m. | Admission: Free
Take a walk back in time and look to the future with this specially curated walking tour of the UWinnipeg campus. Join us as we explore some of UWinnipeg's most memorable landmarks and newest spaces, uncovering stories, memories, and milestones along the way.
Stops will include: Wesley Hall, the Axworthy Health & RecPlex, Duckworth Centre, Gallery 1C03, Leatherdale Hall, Tony’s Canteen and Bryce Hall.
Tour will start on the university campus lawns in front of Wesley Hall. Be sure to wear comfortable footwear!
All are welcome.
Friday, October 30
Where: Axworthy Health and RecPlex, 350 Spence Street | When: 4-6 p.m. | Admission: Free
Join fellow UWinnipeg alumni from the 1980s for a special reunion reception on campus. Whether you graduated in the early, mid, or late 80s, we invite you to come home to UWinnipeg and reconnect with the people and place that were part of your journey.
All are welcome.
Friday, October 30
Where: Duckworth Centre, 400 Spence Street | When: 6 p.m. | Admission: Free for alumni
Basketball season is back! Join us for a night of Wesmen basketball as the University of Winnipeg Wesmen men's and women's teams tip off their home opener against cross-town rivals the Manitoba Bisons.
Show your Wesmen pride and help create an electric home-court atmosphere at the Duckworth Centre. UWinnipeg alumni may claim up to two free tickets for the night. Go Wesmen!
Game Times:
- Women's Winnipeg Wesmen vs. Manitoba Bisons: 6 p.m.
- Men's Winnipeg Wesmen vs. Manitoba Bisons: 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 31
Where: Duckworth Centre, 400 Spence Street | When: 1 p.m. | Admission: Free for UWinnipeg alumni
What better way to wrap up Alumni Week than by cheering on the Wesmen? Join fellow alumni, fans, and supporters as the UWinnipeg Wesmen women's and men's volleyball teams welcome the Mount Royal Cougars inside the Duckworth Centre.
Show your Wesmen pride, and help create an electric home-court atmosphere at the Duckworth Centre. UWinnipeg alumni may claim up to two free tickets for each series. Go Wesmen!
Game Times:
- Men's Winnipeg Wesmen vs. Mount Royal Cougars: 1 p.m.
- Womens' Winnipeg Wesmen vs. Mount Royal Cougars: 2:45 p.m.
