The following proposed programs are only intended as samples. Students are strongly encouraged to
contact departments for a consultation with a departmental advisor in order to plan a course of study that fits
with their own individual interests.

Note: Students may use a maximum of 42 credit hours at 1000 level
towards a degree.
Note: A 6 credit hour course
is equal to a full year, September to April, course. A 3 credit hour course is equal to a half
year, September to December or January to April, course.
* All
students are encouraged to take RHET 1105/3 Academic Writing to fulfill the
writing requirement in their first year of study. RHET-1105/3 is required if grade less than 80% in English 40S (2
credits) see Section VIII of the course calendar for specific requirements.
**Students who have French 40S or permission of the
Instructor can take: FREN 1111/6 Practical Language Skills or FREN 1112/6
Grammaire, lexique et lecture

course listings of general degree requirements which can include:
Humanities are the branch of learning that includes the
arts, classics, philosophy and history etc., but not the sciences.
Social Sciences are the branches of learning such as
anthropology, economics, geography, politics, psychology and sociology.
Distribution requirements which are a minimum of three (3)
credit hours from each of five (5) different subjects
