Partnership Programming 2011-2012

Winnipeg Technical College (WTC) and The University of Winnipeg (UWinnipeg) are joining forces to create a partnership that provides students with seamless educational pathways that lead from certificates to diplomas and degrees.

The goal is to provide students with a solid academic and technical foundation, as well as applied practical experience, through joint programs, faculty exchanges, and direct credit transfer. A Work Practicum component may be included in the programs offered at WTC, providing students with an experience that simulates the workplace and gives students the opportunity to gain knowledge, master technical skills, and practice employability skills.
