Information and Inspiration
November 3 & 4, 2005
The Women in Science Conference will offer information and inspiration to young women considering careers in science and technology.
On Thursday, November 3, keynote speaker Dr. Roberta Bondar will give a public lecture at the Ramada Conference Centre at 7:30 p.m. The following day, poster sessions at The University of Winnipeg will highlight the research of our female undergraduate students. As well, colloquia throughout the day will offer the insight of outstanding women scientists in a variety of areas. Finally, the day will close with an information session and panel discussion addressing the issues facing female academics and offering insight into how to overcome the challenges they face.
