WVB LAUREN SEARS NAMED TO CANADA WEST ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
Wednesday, February 20, 2008 – The University of Winnipeg is pleased to announce that first year Women’s Volleyball player Lauren Sears has been selected to the Canada West All-Rookie Team.
Sears, a 5’11 middle from Truro, Nova Scotia was a valuable addition to Head Coach Diane’s Scott team this past season. Sears finished the season second on the team in kills (132) and in blocks (45) and was a regular starter in the middle position for the Wesmen.
