BRETT LOWE COMMITS TO WESMEN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM
Monday, March 24, 2008 - University of Winnipeg Wesmen Men's Volleyball Head Coach Larry McKay is pleased to announce the commitment of Brett Lowe for the upcoming 2008-09 season.
Lowe, a 6'6" middle blocker comes to the Wesmen from the excellent program at Dakota Collegiate, where he was coached by Phil Hudson.
A multisport talent, Brett was a member of the Dakota Lancers Varsity Volleyball and Basketball Teams that advanced to the Provincial Final Four Championships this year.
Lowe was a member of Team Manitoba that won the gold medal at the 2007 Western Canada Summer Games.
"Brett comes from an outstanding program at Dakota with Phil Hudson. He has the size and skill and is from right here in Winnipeg. We are pleased to welcome another local volleyball player to our team", said Wemen Men's Volleyball Head Coach Larry McKay.
