Jeff Billeck B.P.E., CAT(C)
Head Athletic Therapist

Jeff certified as an Athletic Therapist in 1999 and prior to that, graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education in 1996.   Jeff is currently pursuing his master's degree in rehabilitation.

Jeff came to The University of Winnipeg in 2008 after spending nine years at the University of Manitoba.  In those nine years he had served as the head therapist for the Men's Hockey team, the Bison football team, was an assistant therapist with Team Canada Volleyball and also worked as part of the host medical team at numerous events including the Pan-Am Games and Canada Games.

Glen Bergeron PhD, CAT(C)
Chair, Kinesiology and Applied Health

Glen is Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health at The University of Winnipeg.  He has a BPE from University of Manitoba in 1973,  an MSc from the University of Alberta in 1978 and a PhD from the University of Manitoba in 1992.  He certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) in 1975.  He has worked at many national and international events including 5 Olympic games; 2 World university games, 1 Pan Am Games and a variety of world championships.

Robyn Edge,  BSc. (KIN.), CAT(C)

Robyn graduated with a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health from the University of Winnipeg in 2009; and certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association also in 2009. Robyn has worked with a variety of teams in the community and brings a wealth of personal experience from a variety of sports/fitness activities including team handball, golf, triathlons, ringette and yoga. With 4 years of experience in orthopedic bracing, Robyn’s next career goals include acupuncture, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Medical Rehabilitation, and certifying as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
