WINNIPEG WESMEN ANNOUNCE 2008-09 ACADEMIC ALL-CANADIANS
Wednesday, August 12, 2009 – The Winnipeg Wesmen are pleased to announce their Academic All-Canadians for the 2008-2009 academic year. In total there were 20 athletes who were recognized. In order to gain this status a student athlete must finish the academic year with a GPA of 3.0 or better. The Wesmen athletic department is proud of the fact that 40% of their student athletes earned Academic All-Canadian status which is double the national average of 20%. The 2008-2009 Academic All-Canadians are as follows:
