WINNIPEG WESMEN ANNOUNCE 2007-08 ACADEMIC ALL-CANADIANS

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 – The Winnipeg Wesmen is pleased to announce their Academic All-Canadians for the 2007-2008 academic year. In total there were 27 athletes who gained recognition. In order to gain this status a student athlete must finish the academic year with an overall average of 80% or better. The Wesmen athletic department is proud of the fact that 47% of their student athletes earned Academic All-Canadian status, which more than doubles the national average of 20%. The 2007-2008 Academic All-Canadians are as follows:
