55 Plus Program
Stimulate your mind and remain an intellectually active, vital
member of the community as you approach or enjoy retirement. From a
study of
film classics of the 1940s to current world events, the 55 Plus Program
at the UW Division of Continuing Education (DCE)
offers non-credit courses that deliver know how as diverse and interesting as the
students who attend them.
"The Journal"
The Journal, The University of Winnipeg Alumni Magazine is
produced for the alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of The University
of Winnipeg by Alumni Affairs. It is published twice annually, in
spring/summer, and fall/winter.
"Inside AESES"
Inside AESES Newsletter, published five times a year by the
Association of Employees Supporting Education Services, an independent
organization (non-affiliated union). AESES is committed to improving
the working lives of its members through collective bargaining, contract
administration, education and activities promoting collegiality and
participation.
"UWFA
News"
"UWFA News" comes out five times a year - in September, November,
February, April and May. It has such regular features as: "around and
about the neighbourhood" - on local restaurants, services and activities
of interest; "faculty news" - about faculty awards, research and
achievements; "up to date with UWFA" - on bargaining, milestones and
actions; "executive reports"; "Peppa presents" - a humourous take on
campus life; and of course, in-depth articles of current relevance and
historical interest.
The
University of Winnipeg Foundation News and Publications
The University of Winnipeg Foundation is the fundraising arm of the
University and its Collegiate. A registered public foundation, the UWF
publishes Annual Reports, Campaign Newsletters, an annual Endowment
Fund Report for fund holders, and various print materials in support of
annual giving, campaign giving for A World of Opportunity Capital
Campaign, current or endowed fund contributions, and planned giving.

The
University of Winnipeg Trusteed Pension Plan
The University of Winnipeg Trusteed Pension Plan includes information
about the Pension Plan, its Trustees and a Newsletter
which is published periodically to bring members of the Pension Plan
and others up to date on the activities of the Trusteed Board and
matters related to the Pension Plan.
The University of Manitoba Retirees Association
The University of Manitoba Retirees Association (UMRA) gained its official recognition by the University of Manitoba May 14, 2003.
UMRA is a founding member of the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada (CURAC) and its purpose is to act as a liaison between the U of M retirees and the University, to encourage and promote a spirit of collegiality among members of the association and organize and promote activities for its members, and to facilitate interaction with other retiree/senior organizations.

The University of Winnipeg Faculty and Staff Club
The University of Winnipeg Faculty and Staff club is situated on the quiet fourth floor of Wesley Hall at The University of Winnipeg. The Club serves as a common meeting place for the University community. Faculty and Staff Club members are as diverse as The University community itself and the privilege of membership is also extended to accommodate anyone who is associated with The University. The Club is perfect for entertaining friends, family and colleagues.
