Volleyball Players Visit Tyndall Park School
Members of Men's and Women's Volleyball Team Visit Tyndall Park School For "I Love To Read"..
Members of the Wesmen Volleyball teams took time out of their schedules last week to visit Tyndall Park School as part of February's "I Love to Read Month".
WVB team members Alicia Perry, Leah Brezinski, Miranda Grayson and Lauren Sears visited the school last Thursday and did a great job reading entertaining stories to their respective groups.
"My teammates and I had a great time visiting Tyndall Park school and getting to know some of the students. As a former student of Tyndall Park school it was great to have had the opportunity to visit my old stomping grounds as well as meet some really great kids. It was great to see the kids so excited and enthusiastic about reading. I was able to share some of my personal favourite children's books as well as some stories and experiences about what it's like to be a Winnipeg Wesmen", added Leah Brezinski
On Friday MVB team members Derek Miller, Jayne Burnett and Dominique Pereira took time to read a variety of stories to the large group of kids in attendance.
