As a member of the College Lorette Collegiate squad she participated in the MHSAA AAA Provincial Championships in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. Her team won three consecutive Zone Championships and her solid play led to her being named the Player of the Game in several matches.“Chloe played a huge role for us on our 18U Jr Wesmen Team this past season. Her work ethic, commitment and athleticism allowed her to grow immensely. She has work to do but its her attitude and willingness to play whichever role that has created this opportunity”, added Wesmen Women’s Volleyball head coach Diane Scott.
A multisport talent, Orteza has won several awards in swimming, diving, soccer, basketball and track and field.
An outstanding student-athlete, she currently is maintaining a 90+ average and has been on the Academic Honour Roll every year (2009-present). She will be the College Lorette Collegiate Class Valedictorian at their graduation ceremony next month.
