The University of Winnipeg Wesmen and Womens Wrestling head coach Adrian Bruce are pleased to announce the commitments of Rachel Alder and Tia MacDonald to the Womens Wrestling Program for the start of the 2013-2014 Canada West season.

The recruitment of Rachel into our Womens program is one of great significance, she will be the first ever graduate of our Jr. Wesmen program to progress into our Wesmen Varsity program. The addition of Miss MacDonald to our Womens program I expect will have a significant positive impact, another very strong academic athlete to add to our roster. Being recruited out of one of the top developmental programs in the country she comes to us with strong technical skills and significant competitive experience which will serve as a strong foundation as she enters the sport of wrestling at the CIS level, added Bruce.
