Trunzo, Farago Named Athletes of the Month
Wesmen Soccer Players Serafina Trunzo And Tyson Farago Have Been Chosen As The Lea Marc Printing Wesmen Athletes Of The Month For October..
The University of Winnipeg Wesmen in conjunction with lea marc Printing Solutions are pleased to announce that Soccer Players Serafina Trunzo and Tyson Farago have been chosen as the lea marc Printing Solutions Wesmen Athletes of the Month for October 2012.

Trunzo a third year midfielder was named the Wesmen Most Valuable Player in two matches played in October. The team co-captain played the full 90 minutes in three of the four matches played. Trunzo's hard work and determination played a big part in helping the Wesmen earn their first ever CIS victory, a 1-0 win against the Lethbridge Pronghorns on October 13th.

Farago a second year goalkeeper was named the Winnipeg Wesmen Male Player of the Week on two occasions in October. Farago recorded two shutouts and was named the Wesmen Most Valuable Player in two matches. His best performance was a dramatic 2-0 shutout victory over the defending CIS champions the University of Victoria Vikes on October 27th.
