The Winnipeg Wesmen defeated Sherbrooke 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-19) Sunday afternoon at the Queen's University Invitational in Kingston, Ontario.
Winnipeg finishes the three day event with a perfect 3-0 record and a first place finish. The Wesmen beat Ryerson 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-21) on Friday and followed that up with a 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23) victory over Queen's on Saturday night.
Head coach Larry McKay and his team have now finished in first place in two consecutive tournaments. The Wesmen finished last week's University of Regina Invitational with a 3-1 record.
