Hailey Buhler To Join Wesmen This Fall

Head Coach Diane Scott Is Pleased To Announce The Commitment Of Hailey Buhler From Miles Macdonell Collegiate To The Women's Volleyball Program..


The University of Winnipeg and Women’s Volleyball head coach Diane Scott are pleased to announce that Hailey Buhler from Miles Macdonell Collegiate has commited to the Women’s Volleyball program for the start of the 2012-2013 Canada West season in September.

Buhler 5’9” right/left side was named a Manitoba Volleyball Association Graduating All-Star this past season and was ranked #9 in the annual Coaches Poll of the top high school girl’s volleyball players in Manitoba. She was named the MVP of the Providence College Tournament in 2011 and has collected multiple player of the game awards at the high school level.

An accomplished club player, Hailey played the 2011 season with the 18U Mavericks team and suited up for the 18U Cobras team this past season.

Buhler, who has received Academic Excellence Awards for the past three years, currently maintains a 91% GPA.

"We are happy to have Hailey join our Women’s Volleyball program! She is a versatile athlete with a blue collar work ethic. She's a mature young woman with a great sense of team first” added Wesmen head coach Diane Scott.
