Jessica Brenton finished her first CIS Wrestling Championship with a fifth place finish in the 59 kg weight class. Brenton defeated Jamie Bergenstrom (Alberta) by pin fall in the 5th place match Saturday morning.
Preliminary Rounds - Friday
First year female wrestler Jessica Brenton had mixed results in the preliminary rounds on the first day of the 2012 CIS Wrestling Championships at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Brenton competing in the 59 kg weight class, finished the preliminary rounds with a record of 1-2.
