“World Champion & Olympic Silver Medalist”
Guivi Sissaouri started wrestling at age 10 and by 19 he was a member of the Soviet National Team. In 1991 he won his first Soviet title and placed second at the world championships. But that fall, civil war broke out in his homeland of Georgia. He made a tough and courageous decision to head for Canada and the Montreal Wrestling Club.
His first big successes in Canadian colours were at the 1995 world championships and 1996 Olympic Games, both held in Atlanta, where he won silver medals each time. After a disappointing performance at the Sydney Olympics due to the effects of a knee injury, he bounced back to win the world title in 2001. We are very proud to have Gia as our head clinician at this year’s camp.
Gia Sissaouri is regarded as one of the premier clinicians in the world today, he currently resides as the International Development Coach for Canada Wrestling.

Trivia: Sissaouri also appeared on season 12 of The Ultimate Fighter as George St. Pierre's wrestling coach.
Jordin Humphrey, Fishers Indiana.
“Head Coach Humphrey Wrestling program”
Jordin Humphrey is the eldest son of the legendary Humphrey Wrestling Family, his father Jim is the only man in history to be the Head Coach of both a Canadian & a US Olympic Wrestling Team. While his brother Reese is a current member of the US World Team & training for a spot on the 2012 US Olympic Team at 60 kgs., Jordin has his sights set on a spot at 60 kgs. representing Canada at these same games. As Jordin was born in Canada and now living in the US his Canadian citizenship will allow him to compete on behalf of Canada at the International level, should both brothers earn a spot through their respective trials this would once again put the Humphrey name at the fore front of the record book’s. Having graduated from a successful competitive career at Ohio State, Jordin is the Head Coach of one of the most prominent & successful wrestling programs in the Eastern United States, the Humphrey Wrestling Program located in Fishers, Indiana. Regarded by many to be one of the best clinicians in the US today we welcome Jordin to our camp staff this year.
