Sacramento Named MCAC Male Athlete Of The Week

Men's Soccer Player Kenny Sacramento Was Named Today As The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference Week Five Male Athlete Of The Week..


The University of Winnipeg Wesmen in conjunction with the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference are pleased to announce that Wesmen Men’s Soccer player Kenny Sacramento has been selected as the MCAC Week Five Male Athlete of the Week.

The 6'0" midfielder opened the scoring for the Wesmen and set up two others in a 4-1 victory over the University of Saint Boniface Voyageurs back on October 8th at the Winnipeg Soccer Complex.

A graduate of Daniel McIntyre High School, Sacramento joined the Wesmen with an impressive resume. He played for FC Edmonton in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and WSA Winnipeg in the Premier Development League (PDL).

The men’s soccer team recently completed the MCAC Men’s Soccer regular season with a perfect record of 8-0. The Wesmen will be the number one seed at this weekend’s MCAC Men’s Soccer Championships at Red River College. Winnipeg will play Saint Boniface in one semi final Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
