Elite soccer training program
"Starting January 12, 2013
The University of Winnipeg Wesmen Soccer Program is once again offering it's Elite Training Program for players (male and female) who wish to extend their their learning and skill levels to a higher level. Each training group will have 16 players and we will not compromise on numbers to make the program a weaker training event.
The main time will be by age groups and they will be held over weekends at the Sturgeon Heights Community Centre (Portage Ave and Rita Street).
All coaching will be led by Wesmen Soccer Head coaches Pedro Daza and Mick Gale. The sessions will be assisted by Alexa Guse and Pedro Hernandez, Ross Pinhammer and Josh Partaker (Goalkeeper Sessions).
The costs will be $135.00 for the 12 weeks and it will be on a first come first served basis.
Sessions will begin in the new year on January 12th and conclude on March 23rd.
All athletes are required to wear proper apparel including indoor shoes and shin guards.Goalkeepers must bring their own gear.
Times: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. U 10/11
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. U 12/13
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. U 14/15 "Session Full"
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. U 16+
5:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. (Jr. Goalkeeper up to U13)
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Sr. Goalkeeper)
Futsal
Our indoor training program for those who are new to the game or are returning after an absence and are looking to fine tune their skills.
Times: Wednesday evenings beginning November 28th (four weeks), January 16th (four weeks) and Feb 13th (four weeks)
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - U 8-9
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.- U 10-11
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.- U12-13
8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - U 14-15
9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - U 16+
Costs are $60 for the 12 week session.
Sessions will take place at Sturgeon Heights Community Centre (Portage Ave and Rita St)
