Bromley, Froese Named MCAC Athletes of the Week
Soccer Players Adam Bromley And Jeanine Froese Were Named Today As The MCAC Athletes Of The Week For Week Number Four..
The University of Winnipeg Wesmen in conjunction with the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference are pleased to announce that Wesmen Soccer players Adam Bromley and Jeanine Froese have been selected as the MCAC Week Four Athletes of the Week.
Second year midfielder Adam Bromley scored four goals in a 6-1 victory over the Red River College Rebels (October 2). Bromley currently sits in second place in team scoring with five goals.
First year forward Jeanine Froese scored a pair of goals in a 10-0 shutout victory over the Rebels (September 27). Froese currently has five goals in the regular season.
The Wesmen Soccer teams currently sit in first place in their respective MCAC Conferences with undefeated records. The teams will conclude their regular season schedules with a pair of matches this weekend. Winnipeg will take on Canadian Mennonite University on Saturday followed by matches against Providence College on Sunday. All games will be played at the Winnipeg Soccer Complex (900 Waverley Street).
