Baseball Marathon Fundraiser...September 22

The Wesmen Baseball Team Will Be Participating In The 2nd Annual Baseball Marathon Game To Raise Funds And Awareness For The Program..

The University of Winnipeg Varsity Men's Baseball team will be participating in the second annual “Wesmen Baseball Marathon Game” on Saturday September 22nd from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Shaw Park (the home of the Winnipeg Goldeyes)

The event will serve as a program fundraiser and for raising awareness of the newly formed Wesmen Varsity Baseball program.

Wesmen players will be gathering pledges in the community in support of playing a Marathon Baseball Game that will lasts 100 innings.

Individuals and organizations who pledge support for the game will receive a tax receipt and become a member of the Wesmen Baseball Booster Program. The Booster Program is designed to give Wesmen Baseball supporters access to Wesmen Baseball activities and Wesmen Baseball “Gear” to display their support.

Admission to the event is free. Fans of all ages will have a chance to meet the players and take part in several planned baseball activities such as radar gun, batting cages, and many more contests.
