UW Collegiate Star Commits To Wesmen
UW Collegiate Volleyball Star Ozana Nikolic Has Committed To Playing For The Women's Volleyball Team This September For The 2011-2012 Season..

A UWinnipeg Collegiate star is joining the Wesmen Women’s Volleyball program. Head Coach Diane Scott is pleased to announce that Ozana Nikolic has committed to joining the Wesmen this September for the 2011-2012 Canada West season."We feel very privileged to have a player of Ozana's potential join our program. She is an outstanding young woman, disciplined academically, great family values and a great athlete who is all about team. She has all the tools to make the step to CIS volleyball”, said Wesmen head coach Diane Scott.
Nikolic spent the past three seasons with the UWinnipeg Collegiate team. In her final season she captained her team to a Provincial AAA High School Girl’s Volleyball title. Ozana was chosen as the MVP and was named to the Provincial Graduation Team and All-Manitoba Team. She was also named an all-star in grade 11 following the Provincial Championships.
Before coming to the UW Collegiate, she played volleyball at the club level for the Jr.Bisons and Jr.Wesmen. Nikolic was named an all-star or MVP in every tournament the team took part in.
A Multisport talent, Ozana excelled in badminton and in 2010 placed second in her zone and advanced to the Provincial Badminton Championships.
Nikolic currently has a 93% grade average at the Collegiate and plans to major in Science at the University of Winnipeg with ambitions to become a pediatric nurse.
