Samantha Dubicki To Suit Up For The Wesmen

Women's Volleyball Head Coach Diane Scott Announced Today The Commitment Of River East Kodiak Player Samantha Dubicki To The Women's Volleyball Program..

The University of Winnipeg and Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Diane Scott are pleased to announce the commitment of Samantha Dubicki to the women’s volleyball program for the 2011-2012 Canada West season.

 Dubicki most recently was the starting middle for the River East Collegiate Kodiaks that won the Provincial AAAA Girl’s High School Volleyball Championship. Her outstanding play led to her selection to the Tournament All-Star team.

A multisport talent, the 6’0 middle was named the River East Collegiate’s JV Athlete of the Year in 2009. She was a member of the Kodiaks JV Provincial Basketball championship team in 2009.

A successful five years at the club level led to a pair of National Championships for Dubicki (2007 and 2008). This past season she was a member of the Cobras 17U team that won a bronze medal at the National Championships.

An outstanding student, Samantha currently has a GPA of 94% and has been on the Principals Honour Roll every semester at River East.
