Wesmen Win Regular Season Opener
The Wesmen Women's Soccer team opened up their MCAC regular season with an impressive 8-0 victory over Providence College Sunday afternoon.
The Wesmen (1-0) will continue their regular season schedule on Saturday, October 2 with a visit to Canadian Mennonite University. Match time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

A strong defensive game and timely goals lifted Wesmen Men's Soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Providence College Sunday evening.
The Wesmen (1-0) scored a goal in the first half and carried the one goal lead to the 87th minute when Amos Ganyea scored to expand the Wesmen lead to 2-0 with three minutes to play in regulation time. Providence scored in extra time to make the final score 2-1.
The Wesmen will travel to CUSB (Saint Boniface) next Sunday (October 26) for their second match of the regular season. Match time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

The Winnipeg Wesmen Men's Soccer team defeated Canadian Mennonite University 7-0 in a shortened match Thursday evening at CMU. The game was called after the opening half due to the steady rain that fell throughout the match.
The Wesmen will open up their 2010 MCAC regular season schedule on Sunday afternoon with a visit to Providence College. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

The Winnipeg Wesmen Women's Soccer team made an impression in their first ever match. The Wesmen defeated Canadian Mennonite University 14-0 in preseason action Wednesday evening. Britney Walker led the Wesmen with a four goal performance, Sera Trunzo added three goals in the victory.
The Wesmen will open up their 2010 MCAC regular season schedule on Sunday afternoon with a visit to Providence College. Match time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
