November 16, 2012
Dr. John Corlett, Vice President (Academic) and Provost, will be leaving
The University of Winnipeg for Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, where he
has accepted the position of VP-Academic and Provost.
Dr. Corlett joined The

"On behalf of the entire campus community, I’d like to thank Dr.
Corlett for his dedicated service to The University of Winnipeg and we wish him
all the best in his new role at Grant MacEwan as VP-Academic and Provost," said
Dr. LLoyd Axworthy, President and Vice-Chancellor of UWinnipeg.
Dr. Corlett will commence at Grant MacEwan on March 1, 2013 and will begin
an administrative leave from the University of Winnipeg on November 19, 2012.
A
transition plan is currently being developed and will be announced
shortly.
