Encrypted Wireless Instructions

Faculty, Staff, and Students are advised to use our encrypted wireless network for confidentiality and security reasons.  The encrypted network is available from any location on campus that has wireless service, and offers slightly more functionality.  The guest network is limited to specific areas, has limited functionality, and is only available to a relatively low number of simultaneous users.

Please note:  Some wireless cards may not be able to be configured for the type of encryption used by the University of Winnipeg. If this is the case, please follow the Guest instructions, but be aware of the limits to functionality and location of that network.
