Edge Firewall Change Requests

Requests for edge firewall adjustments can be made directly through the TSC Help Desk.  To help expedite things, a firewall request form is provided here.  If the request is for a new server, a compliancy check form must be filled out, available here (pdf), and sent to Mark Rogowski, IT Security.

Prior to any edge firewall adjustments, the system is scanned for vulnerabilities.  Any weaknesses found are reported to the administrator, and must be qualified or attended to.  Concurrent follow-up scans are usually performed on a regular basis to make sure systems are secure.
