Title:	The Rough Ground of Politics. Dr. Ali Aslam, Princeton University
Description:	Drawing on recent political developments from the Occupy Movement to the Arab Spring, this lecture examines the way in which citizens, acting together in localized practices, can unsettle the seemingly unchangeable political and economic circumstances that constitute their experience of the world. In doing so, it seeks to cultivate a citizen-centered public philosophy in which ordinary political actors are empowered to reshape their imagination and knowledge of the world and its possibilities.
