Title: Food Security and Ethno Cultural Vegetables: Learning from the Ontario Experience
Description: Department of Anthropology Visiting Speaker Series presents a lecture
by Dr. Bamidele Adekunle.
Dr. Bamidele Adekunle is a Special Graduate Faculty at School of
Environment Design and Rural Development, University of Guelph. He
also teaches Introduction to Global Management and Management of
International Enterprise at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Dr. Adekunle's presentation is titled; Food Security and Ethno
Cultural Vegetables: Learning from the Ontario Experience.
Description: There is an increasing demand for ethno-cultural
vegetables in the GTA and most of these crops are imported from
abroad. Is this sustainable? What are the options available for
stakeholders in the market? And policy implications.
