Description:	Dr. Wade Davis, world-renowned authour, ethnographer, photographer and the University of Winnipeg's Visiting Professor and Senior Fellow in the Master's in Development Practice - Indigenous Development program (MDP), will present and sign copies of his new book "Into The Silence: The Great War, Mallory, and the Conquest Of Everest." "It's the story of a generation shattered by war and the attempt by some members to find redemption in the thin air of the world's highest mountain." "The had seen so much death that life mattered less than the moments of being alive," Davis writes. Refreshments will be served.
