Dr. Renée Douville

Dr. Renée Douville’s laboratory is studying how the human brain protects itself from virus infections. This is important because some viruses can cause brain damage leading to neurological diseases. By developing a better understanding of how the immune system fights viruses that attack the brain, we hope to design new drugs to treat neurological diseases.
