Adventures in Global Citizenship from August 7-15
Offered by UWinnipeg’s Global College, this intensive three credit course introduces
students to global challenges and opportunities in human rights, and cultivates skills for
academic success. This course is offered in partnership with the Canadian Museum for

UWSA Freestyle from Oct 1 – 6
Everyone is invited to attend Freestyle 2012 at UWinnipeg and The Magnus Eliason
Recreation Centre featuring workshops, special events, films, and radio.
Freestyle offers free hip-hop workshops for youth and adults in Rap Writing, Recording
and Performance, DJ Skills, Break Dance & Graffiti Art. UWSA Freestyle is an annual
celebration of artistic discovery and community/friendship building. Contact UWSA
