Adventures in Global Citizenship from August 7-15

Offered by UWinnipeg’s Global College, this intensive three credit course introduces students to global challenges and opportunities in human rights, and cultivates skills for academic success. UWSA Freestyle from Oct 1 – 6

Freestyle logoEveryone is invited to attend Freestyle 2012 at UWinnipeg and The Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre featuring workshops, special events, films, and radio.

Freestyle offers free hip-hop workshops for youth and adults in Rap Writing, Recording and Performance, DJ Skills, Break Dance & Graffiti Art. UWSA Freestyle is an annual celebration of artistic discovery and community/friendship building. Duff Roblin Dinner on October 10, 2012

Proceeds from the dinner go towards the Duff Roblin Scholars Fund, enhancing educational opportunities for Manitoba’s Indigenous population. The event will be held at the Hotel Fort Garry from 6:00 - 10:00 PM
